all of the story gives meaning to the rest of the gameplay. that's why people are such fanatics about this game, it fully engrosses you in the world of tau ceti-iv
I think Marathon is a victim of trying to appeal to both multiplayer fans and single player fans. On one side you have a competitive shooter with a huge emphasis on dynamic gunfights, and on the other side you have heavy lore, cinematics, contracts, and an eccentric soundtrack.
@georgiccangel it's not even a problem of the night marsh loot. no lifers would just be grinding pinwheel for hours like last season and basically nothing would change
People clowned me when I said Gebura is statement woman but the more you think about it the more you realize she genuinely does nothing on screen beyond the Lobcorp raid and everything else is being glazed by other characters or pure hearsay
I have to respect that Ueda is the last person still committed to making weird barely profitable ps2 games this will sell exactly 3 copies this will run at 19 fps max and the shareholders will be sending his ass to the shadow realm afterwards but he has my respect
