USDA puts farmers first through programs like the Farmer Bridge Assistance Program and the Assistance for Specialty Crop Farmers Program, providing more than $12 billion to farmers in response to temporary trade market disruptions and increased production costs.
Enrollment is open for the Assistance for Specialty Crop Farmers Program through Aug. 7, 2026, and producers can submit their application at https://t.co/RBZwCm7kQo.

If we're going to Make America Healthy Again, it starts with America's farmers and ranchers.
Real food is the answer to our nation's chronic disease crisis.
Today's visit to @TGHCares with @SecKennedy was a reminder that hospitals, schools, and communities all have a role to play in putting healthy, nutrient-dense American food back at the center of our lives.
What Tampa General is doing can serve as a model for hospitals across the country. And together, we can build a healthier future for every American. 🇺🇸
.@SecKennedy: “You can’t have good health in a country if you don’t have good food.”
@HHSGov is partnering with @USDA to bring healthier food to hospitals across America.
.@SecRollins: “If we really are going to reverse this heartbreaking trend that has been happening in our country for so long in terms of chronic disease and just the health of our people, the way to do it is through our farmers, ranchers, and eating real food.”
Putting REAL, nutrient-dense American food back at the center of health starts with America's farmers and ranchers.
@SecRollins and @SecKennedy visited @TGHCares to highlight 2 Trump Administration initiatives advancing the Make America Healthy Again agenda 👇
🏫 USDA's State School Meals Pledge — inviting governors and school districts to voluntarily serve healthier school meals, including whole milk, whole foods at breakfast, and 100% whole grain products.
Real food should be on every hospital tray.
@SecKennedy and I sampled nutrient-dense meals at @TGHCares as Tampa General became the FIRST hospital to sign the Make Hospital Food Healthier Pledge!
Patients deserve healthy food, and America’s farmers are ready to provide it.🇺🇸

🇺🇸 @JohnRich speaking with @NFRW about his new role as Special Envoy for American Landowners where he'll be advocating for the property rights of farmers and ranchers, and ensuring the voices of everyday American landowners are heard loud and clear.
By orchestrating a defense through federal agencies, this new presidential role ensures everyday landowners don't have to face large entities alone. 🛡️👇
Putting Farmers First means giving producers a government that works for them, NOT the other way around.
Yesterday I met with some of the best farmers from across America — including corn growers from Indiana, Iowa, Illinois, Virginia, Tennessee, Michigan, Ohio, Wisconsin, North Carolina, Minnesota, North Dakota, Missouri, Kentucky, Kansas, Nebraska, and New York — to discuss how @USDA is modernizing the way we serve America's farmers. 🌽
Earlier this year, we launched the One Farmer, One File initiative that revolutionizes the way farmers interact with USDA programs so farmers can spend less time in an office and more time in the field.
We've already made meaningful progress, but there's more work ahead, especially when it comes to data collection, analysis, and reporting.
The best ideas come from the producers who fill out our surveys and rely on timely and accurate data from USDA to make business decisions. Feedback from farmers, like those I met with yesterday, will help USDA develop a plan to modernize these processes and restore producer confidence in our data.
Stay tuned for more!
Under President Trump’s leadership, we are ending SNAP fraud and protecting taxpayer dollars.
SNAP benefits should go to the Americans who need them most — not fraudsters exploiting the system.
Thanks to Republican governors who stepped up and partnered with us, we’ve uncovered hundreds of thousands of cases of fraud, including deceased individuals receiving benefits and duplicate recipients.
This is what REAL accountability looks like. We can’t fix what we can’t see, and we need every state to put politics aside and help us protect the SNAP program.
And if you are committing fraud, you will be caught and prosecuted. 💪
Fertilizer isn't just an agriculture issue—it's a national security issue.
Input costs have decreased BIG since 2022:
⬇️ Potash: 54%
⬇️ Ammonia: 48%
⬇️ Urea: 58%
@POTUS is bringing fertilizer production back to America because our farmers should never depend on Russia, China, or any other foreign nation for the inputs that feed our country.
Food security is national security. 🇺🇸
