Appy Robotics is building around a simple idea:
If humans already know how to perform a physical task, we can capture demonstrations of that task and turn them into structured data for robotics development.

That distinction drives how we're designing Appy Robotics.

We want contributors to be able to see that their recordings are becoming part of an actual growing dataset.

The objective is to capture genuine human activity that can contribute to robotics data.

Verification takes time because we’re checking whether the recording actually contains a usable task and meets the required quality.
We’d rather verify fewer useful clips than approve random footage.
Physical AI needs more than images of objects.
It needs to see how humans interact with them.
How we pick something up, move it, rotate it, place it, fold it, clean it, and manipulate it.
That’s the type of real-world data Appy Robotics is collecting.
