π³ Why Boardwalk and BMX Matter
Token creation is becoming easier. That is not enough. The next important issuance platform will not win because it helps anyone create a token faster. It will win because it helps new token economies launch with clearer rules, stronger structure, and less avoidable opacity.
@UseBoardwalk is built for that shift.
It combines transparent auctions, defined supply splits, visible fee routing, known vesting, refunds if threshold is missed, programmatic liquidity seeding if threshold is met, permanently locked initial liquidity, fixed live economics, issuer responsibility, and no platform endorsement. Boardwalk does not remove market risk. Tokens can still fail. But users should not have to guess how liquidity works, who receives fees, whether economics can change, or whether the platform is endorsing the asset.
That is why Boardwalk can become important issuance infrastructure. It does not only create tokens. It standardizes the first day of a token economy.
BMX is the coordination asset inside that system. BMX is required for launches, burned for Upvotes and Downvotes, staked for participation, and used in weekly fee-direction. The BMX minter is burned, no one can mint more, and supply can only decrease through protocol use. Boardwalk has no company equity layer above BMX; BMX is the only Boardwalk token.
The flywheel is where BMX becomes especially compelling. Boardwalk usage creates multiple BMX demand and consumption paths at once: issuers need BMX to launch, communities burn BMX to influence visibility through Upvotes and Downvotes, stakers lock BMX to build Voter Points, and eligible stakers participate in weekly fee-direction. These are tied to the same issuance system. More credible launches can create more visibility competition, more fee activity, more staking relevance, and more BMX consumption. Because the minter is burned, increased usage cannot be offset by new BMX issuance. Because Voter Points accrue over time and burn on exit, staking can make liquid supply less available. None of this guarantees value, but it creates a direct utility-and-consumption model tied to Boardwalk activity.
Fee-direction is the key participation layer. Eligible BMX stakers vote in weekly epochs on a designated budget across fixed options: Buy & Burn BMX, Operations Reserve, Perma-Lock BMX/WETH liquidity, or Route to eligible BMX voters. The vote is winner-take-all: the option with the most support directs the designated budget for that epoch. To prevent one route from dominating indefinitely, an option that wins three epochs in a row must sit out the next epoch before returning to the ballot. If the voter route wins, the designated budget buys BMX and streams it to eligible prior-epoch voters. Amounts may be low or zero and depend on protocol activity, eligibility, quorum, vote outcome, contract execution, and market conditions.
BMX is not equity, yield, revenue share, or a claim on Boardwalk fees. The thesis is simpler: if Boardwalk becomes the issuance layer for credible token economies, BMX is the scarce coordination asset inside that layer.
Boardwalk's Beta is live on @Ethereum, @Base, @Katana, @Inkonchain, and @Fraxfinance.

The next evolution isn't another wave of tickers.
It's token economies.
Protocols, AI agents, communities, and memes need clearer rules, visible coordination, and structure that gives people a reason to stay involved.
Don't just launch a token. Launch an economy. π³
Boardwalk Club members are the first to walk on Boardwalk.
They have already provided comprehensive and overwhelmingly positive feedback, pushing us closer to public launch.
Boardwalk was created to improve the onchain experience for all market participants.
Transparent token economies are easier to design, launch, and discover on Boardwalk.
And thatβs not allβ¦participating in them has never been easier!
