You can now spend bitcoin on @UseKesh.
Deposit onchain or over Lightning, then pay any till, paybill, pochi or bank account in Kenya. Zero fees.
Available on Android today. iOS coming very soon.
@rukundo__ and I are in Dar this week to learn how mobile money and payments actually work here.
If you're building on Bitcoin, stablecoins (USD or local currency), or anything payments adjacent, we'd love to buy you a coffee. DMs open.
We will also be at Mambo Stable this Thursday: https://t.co/oyrVciFqhu
One more thing.
Stablecoins are where we started, not where we stop. We are bringing Bitcoin and Lightning to Kesh so anyone, anywhere in the World, can send you hard money that lands in seconds and you can spend it at your local.
This is our top priority.

Mobile money changed how we move money. But is it the final destination?
In this Demo Tuesdays session, @Vlad_kwasi and @rukundo__ from @UseKesh challenged us to think beyond the payment systems we've grown used to and imagine what the next generation of digital money could look like.
They shared the story behind building Kesh, the thinking that led to a fee-free approach to payments, and why privacy, simplicity, and user experience matter just as much as the technology itself.
More than a product demo, it was a session about reimagining how money moves and what the future of payments in Kenya could become.
A huge thank you to Collin and Vladimir for sharing their journey and giving us a glimpse into what's next.
