The parents, especially the father, are the real issue here. I doubt he offered much love or support while his child was alive. He hasn't even appeared to show genuine grief; instead, he is all over the media demanding compensation and making one allegation after another without proof.

What the boy did was not an unpardonable offense; many students his age succumb to pressure and cheat. The IIT handled his case leniently per protocol. He died not from fear of punishment, but from the shame of getting caught. He would have garnered widespread national sympathy, if his father’s erratic post-tragedy behavior hadn't alienated most of the public, stripping his son of that compassion.

Ultimately, he needed a genuinely supportive environment. His father claims the boy confided everything, yet he shared nothing on the day he was pushed to the brink, a stark disconnect that questions how supported he truly was.

Why did India slip from 4th to 6th in nominal GDP rankings?

India’s growth rate has been higher than countries like Japan and the United Kingdom. So how can a leading and faster running athlete fall behind lagging and slow running ones in the race?

The answer is very simple - currency effect

India measures its GDP in Indian Rupees (INR), but global rankings are calculated in US dollars. When the rupee weakens against the dollar, India’s GDP appears smaller in USD terms even if the domestic economy is growing strongly.
For example:
Earlier: 1 USD ≈ Rs 84
Now: 1 USD ≈ Rs 92 (due to Iran war)

This depreciation of roughly 10% means that, when converted into dollars, India’s GDP also appears lower by a similar margin, purely due to exchange rate movement, not because the economy shrank.

As a result, shifts in ranking are often temporary and currency-driven, rather than a reflection of underlying economic weakness.

Bottom line:
Congress doesn't need to be so happy. India’s growth trajectory remains intact; nominal GDP rankings can fluctuate due to exchange rate changes rather than real economic performance.

In Uttar Pradesh’s Moradabad, a man filed a complaint in December 2025 that his sister was being pressured into conversion to islam and wearing burqa by her 5 classmates

He said all girls studied at the same tuition centre

He said the 5 girls had bought a burqa and tried to forcibly make his sister wear it - which was captured on CCTV camera

The victim further told the police the other girls used to bring meat dishes and ask her to eat. When refused, they would force her to eat the gravy

She said the other girls would tell her that Quran was best as it could be read in 40 days

She said the other girls said that after wearing burqa, a girl could go anywhere

One of the accused girls, Shabiya, moved Allahabad high court to her the FIR quashed

Chak De was a brilliantly executed, subtle Muslim victimhood propaganda. All this when it was a made-up story. Nothing like that happened. The story had inspiration, if any, from a Hindu coach. In a country where a Muslim actually becomes a captain like Azharuddin and is loved and admired by millions who never cared about his religion, players like Zaheer, Shami, Kaif, Siraj, etc., are idolized, you made a movie showing exactly the opposite, putting the audience into guilt.

I am writing this because I saw a tweet saying there was a time before 2014 when propaganda movies were not made. Lol! Nowadays, propaganda is obvious. Films don’t hide it. They present it openly. Obvious propaganda is easy to spot and dismiss. The more effective kind is the subtle one, wrapped in good cinema, strong emotions, and moral positioning. Films like Chak De!, Rang De Basanti, PK, and My Name Is Khan fall into that category.
