Before the 2023 elections and even after, I screamed myself hoarse warning anyone who would listen - Nelson Chamisa is a deceptive, selfish, and monumentally foolish crook. The response I got was insults. Nothing but insults.

So today, he has proved me correct in his own voice - on recorded telephone conversations no less - and as a ZANUPF supporter, I want to offer Chamisa my singular, heartfelt, and entirely sincere gratitude. No other individual in Zimbabwean political history has so efficiently dismantled an opposition movement that wasn't even his to inherit - he received a formidable institution, built in hardwork and sacrifice by Morgan Tsvangirai, and reduced it to rubble with the focused incompetence of a man who confused charisma for leadership. Zimbabwe is, for all practical purposes, a one-party state. Chamisa did that. Not us.

To those still nursing hopes on this man - I have nothing left to offer you except clarity: you deserve him. Entirely and without exception. And if you still cannot see what he is after all of this, then with respect, you are not his victim. You are his mirror - and a worse fool than he is.

God protect Zimbabwe from men who do not know what they do not know - and from the faithful fools who applaud them for it.
