Bandits entered Bayelsa to kidnap
Niger Delta boys round them up like poultry chickens.
Give them phones to call their families for ransom.
They are demanding 50million each for the 6 of them.
Aura for aura.
@PreorderDealsNg Having background & local knowledge is highly essential in any business he would want to venture into. He needs to be taught the ropes first.
Last December, my friend who lives abroad sent me $500 to give to my parents.
I had to decide how to share the money between my dad and my mum.
I didn’t tell anyone about it—I made the decision on my own. At that time, $500 was about ₦700,000.
I kept going back and forth in my mind about the best way to share it.
One part of me felt my dad should get more, while another part said it should be my mum.
I battled with that decision for three days before I finally decided to split it equally—50:50.
My parents live peacefully together, so I felt sharing it equally would help maintain that balance.
I didn’t give them the money on the same day. I first gave my dad ₦350,000 as the head of the family.
What surprised me was that the same day I gave him his share, he took ₦50,000 from it and gave it to my mum.
The next day, when I gave my mum her ₦350,000, she also gave my dad ₦70,000 from her own share.
Honestly, their union is one of the best I’ve ever seen.
My son fought. I was summoned to HM's office-those invitations that come with stress. Boy is seated to my right, looking small, guilty & suddenly very obedient. I'm there trying to mimic a responsible parent.
The Headmaster had prepared a sermon: He spoke. And spoke eloquently. And spoke vehemently. About discipline, character, the future. Etc etc…
Me nodding like a car dashboard toy;
My son-Head down, Silent, Regretful: The picture of reform.
Finally, the Headmaster lands the plane: "Fighting in this school is highly punishable and strictly not allowed."
I turn slowly to my son. "lan, have you heard?" Boy looks me dead in the eyes & says: "Yes, Daddy... I will beat him during the holidays."
My spirit left my body😱.
It was SS3 third term, and we’d just written our last WASSCE paper that very day.
We, the boys, were in our hostels partying and “changing it” for any junior who mildly tried to become a scapegoat that very day.
But unbeknownst to us, the way the girls celebrated was wilder than we anticipated.
While still awake at midnight, Nepa brought light, and from the boys’ hostel, some of us could see the fast circling of different colours as the fans rotated in our classroom.
But we didn’t think much of it until the morning when the VP Academic (Obendo) called all the SS3 seniors, which was very unusual because that day was supposed to be a free day for all the SS3 seniors.
As we were leaving the hostels with sleepy eyes after partying overnight and heading towards the admin block, we saw the atrocities in our classrooms: different colours of panties hanging from every ceiling fan from SS3A down to SS3E, both spoilt and unspoilt.
Somebody just shouted, “This bannies don kill person!” 😂
And that was how they deboarded every SS3 senior, both boys and girls, and we had all come from very far places inside Abuja. 😂
The only option for restitution was to come with a parent and sign an undertaking that you wouldn’t do anything to harm the school until graduation, and that my friend was where the problem was.
Some of us didn’t even have visitors during visiting days, not to mention an impromptu makeshift one. 😂
But I thank God for Chizoba and his mother, who that very day became the mother of 17 boys and 5 girls. She was so unfazed by the tackles of our VP Academic. They tried everything to sway her, but she stood her ground until she signed for all of us.
Very whosky woman! 😂
this woman said her son just passed his driving test and offered to pick her up, as she was out having drinks with friends..
on the way home she asked, "could we get McDonald's?" her son replied,
"been waiting years to say this, No!... we have food at home!" 😭😂
Hello X Fam,
I reached out to @germanlang25 for the opportunity to learn German and be a teacher of German there afterwards.
I was told if I can get 5k retweets, I’ll get accepted.
X family, please do your thing for me. 🙏🏽
Please, if you've already made a deposit or payment for a car, kindly refrain from texting or contacting me for the time being. I need some space right now to protect my mental health and focus on my family. I truly value your understanding and respect for my privacy during this period. Thank you.
