Iran–US conflict is reaching an inflection point.
Oil prices for the first time have reached the highest levels since Feb 2022. The 12% spike in global oil prices overnight was triggered by Trump’s move to continue the naval blockade for a few more weeks.
This conflict as mentioned earlier is not like others. The virtual closure of the Strait of Hormuz has now threatened the global economy.
The stalemate has to be broken. It remains to be seen whether it will be broken through another round of war or diplomacy.
