@ByuSome@judsonsprinkler Seriously. That year was incredible and so fun to be a fan of and yes it was a ton of luck. But I still loved it. Luck just happens with teams and I think fans should enjoy every part of it. Also, BYU hasn’t had nearly as much luck as Utah did that year.
@patton_matt Honestly, this was one of my biggest issues with growing up in the church. Constantly seeing this type of behavior. There are absolutely incredible people in and out of the church. But there are definitely some hypocrites in it for sure.
@rob_stod The only change I’d make to this is putting TCU in the second level. They’ve only played one game. Likely very good. But UNC could be terrible.
@ProdigalSonMatt I love that this works for you. Congrats brother! I’ve also seen people leave the church though for various reasons. Some it doesn’t work for, and some are much better people for it. I think the church is great for some people and not great for others.
@ute111111 I love Hans and Scotty and the show they do. But to be honest it does seem like he was hired as BYU’s color analyst that his coverage of UofU sports has slipped. Still enjoy the show though.
@HowInvesting You’re comparing two very different time frames with NIL now being in place. BYU has great fan support and deep pockets. I think it has more to do with that than now being at the P4 level. Although that does still play a part.
@jlkurtz I agree with this and honestly think BYU would have given some of these teams some good competition. They’re likely the front runner as representing the Big 12 next year. But hope the Utes turn it around and redeem themselves.
@mormon_satan @jimspencer22134@ScottAlanGordon This is so on point. Members like to use the “by their fruits” argument for the positives of the church, but completely ignore it when it comes to the negatives. “By their fruits” requires using everything that comes from it.
@BYUFanA @UtahCFBstats@TotalBlueSports That’s an interesting source.I think I’ll believe what several coaches have said themselves rather than some random BYU fan.Again, I could be wrong, but several coaches have said themselves how much they respect Whittingham.Seems like YOU have a gripe with him more than anything.
@BYUFanA @UtahCFBstats This is interesting…. I’ve never heard this said at any level by any coach that’s worked with him. They all seem to respect him. I may be wrong on that. But I’ve never heard that. Any sources on this?
@iiTz_Tyrell Those are calls that can go either way. Honestly, holding happens every single play. It’s sometimes crazy and frustrating to see when the refs decide to call it
