Tonight, Tesla introduced two new blue exterior paint colors in the U.S. for the Model Y and Model 3.

Old blue:
• Model Y: Deep Blue Metallic
• Model 3: Deep Blue Metallic

New blues:
• Model Y Premium: Marine Blue
• Model Y Performance: Frost Blue
• Model 3 Premium: Marine Blue
• Model 3 Performance: Frost Blue

Like with all colors for the Model 3/Y Performance, the new Frost Blue color is available at no extra cost. This is the same Frost Blue that was available on the Model S/X. Marine Blue on the Premium trims is $1,000. Deep Blue Metallic has now been discontinued after 8+ years in the Tesla lineup.

Today’s Supreme Court decision effectively guts a key pillar of the Voting Rights Act, freeing state legislatures to gerrymander legislative districts to systematically dilute and weaken the voting power of racial minorities - so long as they do it under the guise of “partisanship” rather than explicit “racial bias.” And it serves as just one more example of how a majority of the current Court seems intent on abandoning its vital role in ensuring equal participation in our democracy and protecting the rights of minority groups against majority overreach.

The good news is that such setbacks can be overcome. But that will only happen if citizens across the country who cherish our democratic ideals continue to mobilize and vote in record numbers - not just in the upcoming midterms or in high profile races, but in every election and every level.

Remember the eight @UtahGOP members that the @SLCountyGOP Executive Committee (EC) illegally ousted back in February?

🙈 Then couple of weeks later a motion was made at the County Central Committee meeting (CCM) to reinstate them. Chairman @MikeCarey4CC said the motion was “out of order” for that meeting and he promised to call a special CCM to consider the motion prior to caucus night.

🙉 A couple of days later, Carey issued a statement saying he was not going to call a special meeting because the decision of the EC was final, and the CCM did not have the authority to rescind the decision of the EC.

🐘 Welp, the month after the eight were ousted, at neighborhood caucus night, a few of them were elected by their fellow Republicans to represent them at the SLCO GOP County Convention.

🙊 At yesterday’s SLCO GOP County Convention (see video) Chairman Carey would not allow them to be credentialed as county delegates. When a fellow delegate made a motion from the floor, to allow them to be credentialed, Carey ruled the motion out of order, saying that action can only happen at the CCM.
