@disagreebutter@phil_lyman@RepMaloyUtah@jasoninthehouse I appreciated Chaffetz taking the data center issue head-on. I suspected that topic might be avoided. What stood out to me was that the incumbent didn't sound like someone defending a strong record of results. She sounded more like a candidate still making the case for the job.
@disagreebutter They aren't even trying to hide it anymore. They're actively normalizing it, as though corruption in plain sight stops being corruption if it's done with transparency.
@BurgessOwens Where is the required 5 commissioner vote on redistricting map that was adopted?
State law is clear: map doesn’t move forward unless at least 5 commissioners vote YES. I’ve looked through public documents, and I cannot find that vote. Anyone have that? Should be transparent.
@phil_lyman Property taxes are crushing seniors and families. We’re being taxed on unrealized gains. A neighbor sells, cashes out, and moves on, but those who stay behind get penalized with higher assessed value taxes based on what the neighbor sold for.
@LindsayOnAir@CountMyVoteUtah@abc4utah Wait...CMV took a "weighted" survey of only 609 samples with nearly a 4% margin of error, and the traditional argument from CMV is that the caucus is not well attended. And you're reporting on this?
@SophieAnde49073 If there are 100,000 open jobs and no one to fill them, does that mean there's no one on unemployment in Utah? 🤔 we could fill from that list first?
