The proposed state of Superior or Ontonagon had been considered since the administration of President Jefferson, then having proposed calling it "Sylvania."

Though it has repeatedly sought statehood since then, the last major statehood movement disappeared after 2012.

13 counties in E Oregon have voted to explore leaving Oregon and joining Idaho because they do not share the values of Gov. Kotek and the metro area. Rather than respecting and supporting the people who have made those votes, the Gov. and OR Legislature have "stood together" in holding us captive against our wishes. Federal help to preserve our fundamental freedoms to self-determination would be appreciated.
