Woman accidentally blew up the minivan she was driving when she lit a cigarette, unaware that a propane tank was leaking inside the vehicle.
This happened in Fairfax County, Virginia, on Thursday.
The vehicle's entire roof was blasted off, windows were blown out, and door panels split into pieces. Parts of the car were found 100 feet away.
The explosion shook houses and knocked pictures off the walls.
Investigators believe that with temperatures in the 30s, the driver likely had the windows rolled up. The leaking propane tank filled the car with gas, which then ignited when she lit her cigarette.
Amazingly, nobody was killed. The driver was injured and rushed to the hospital with burns on her arms, but her injuries were not life-threatening.
