Matches like this are where Amorim heavily rotated. Carabao cup matches were where he started Frederickson at Ccb, Yoro at Rcb, Heaven at Lcb, Amass at Lwb, Mainoo at Cm. He used such matches to give the teenagers game time to develop but the stoopid fanbase we have said he hated them.

🚨🚨 Unpopular Opinion; Mason Mount and Andrey Santos pairing is better than Kobbie Mainoo and Tielemans midfield pairing.

Mason Mount and Andrey Santos were paired as the double pivot in preseason and the partnership were fast in moving the ball and also winning the ball back.

unlike Kobbie Mainoo and Tielemans partnership who are slow in moving the ball, slow in winning ball and don’t treat the game with urgency.

If not for Mason Mount injury during preseason, Mount and santos should’ve been United starting pivots.

Hopefully Carrick, plays these two against Brighton.
