A Nigerian trader, Ada Peace, has been sentenced to seven years in prison after an Accra Circuit Court convicted her of human trafficking and immigration-related offences.
The conviction followed a Ghana Immigration Service operation that rescued two victims, aged 21 and 13, who were allegedly lured to Ghana with false promises of employment and forced into prostitution.

"You will only disrespect me as a mother once. After that, you'll lose access to my child, updates, and our presence in your lives.โ
Nobody will come and save us. Our destiny is already in our hands. Take that step to get your pvc and be ready to use it for smart choices.
Get your PVC
Itโs your passport to electing your candidates. Donโt just get emotional on social media. Get active out there.
Do advocacy work of sensitizing the public and let them know what you know.
Preach the message
Well, itโs all about perspective and opinion.
There must be underlying issues we are not privy to.
For instance. Who paid the school fees, who arrange the travelling. How has the woman be with money before now. What was their finance management method while in Nigeria. These and many more are questions that I need answers to.
However, if there is โTrue Loveโ between them, the wife should just sit with the husband and discuss this issue with him. She can agree to be sending him some good percentage. We should not all forget that the man was the one shouldering the responsibilities when she was earning ยฃ800.
The man cannot suddenly be bad.
As a good wife, take it as an error of judgement and have an open conversation. Even me, I donโt do joint account but what will the wife be doing with the remaining money of she refuses to do more?
Are they not one flesh?
Are they not family?
Are they competing with each other?
This is my take, Have a honest conversation and forgive the man for the initial mistakes.
