Van Nistelrooy was the most advanced player and the attack was built around him, hence why the season he left, Ronaldo’s output shot up. Ronaldo was a midfielder till the 06/07 szn where he transitioned to a winger.

It says they managed to get the same points in 10 games after he left as the prior 15 games.This shows he wasn’t the problem, he only played 10 of those prior 15 games and only started 4. Proving they were struggling without him starting

@aces875 @ThaEuropeanLad @Tgarratt10 Yh so Ronaldo was 2nd top goalscorer in the prem that season and saved us so many times. Our win percentage when he started was much higher than when he didn’t. So do you think it’s more that we got rid of Ronaldo or that we signed an actual manager.
