THINGS YOU NEED TO KNOW ABOUT FEDERAL MORTGAGE BANK OF NIGERIA.

Self employed people with verifiable income can also register and contribute to the Nigerian Housing Fund (NHF) and also be eligible for Mortgage Loans at the Federal Mortgage Bank of Nigeria (FMBN).

-Contributing N1-10k to NHF will qualify you to get a Housing Loan of up to N15m from FMBN.

-Contributing N10k-26k to NHF will qualify you to get Housing Loan of up to N25m from FMBN

-Contributing N26k and above to NHF will qualify you to get a Housing Loan of up to N50m from FMBN.

Loan Repayment Period:

The Mortgage Loans in FMBN can run for up to 30years (depending on remaining of years you have in service).

Interest Rate:

All FMBN Loan Products are at Single Digit Interest Rates with majority at 7%. And the interest is Simple Interest not Compound Interest (Interest charged on reducing balance).

Loan Products available at FMBN:

1. NHF Loans (FMBN or Developer funded)
2. Rent-To-Own Loan
3. Construction Loan (For titled land owners)
4. Cooperative Housing Loans
5. Renovation Loans
6. And many other specialized products.

Self Employed and Interested Nigerians can walk into any branch of Federal Mortgage Bank of Nigeria in all the 36 states and FCT to acquire the NHF Application Forms. Employed Nigerians can get it from the Human Resources Departments.
