For decades, one side mastered the art of presenting itself as the victim and defence ,while the people living under siege and attack were heard as "terrorist".

You were sincere in your mission, heroes of breaking the siege. The strongest forces of oppression prevented you from reaching us, yet part of what you carried has made its way to Gaza.

Here, we see pieces of the "Sumud Flotilla" that were destroyed by the occupation. Among them are expensive solar panels, worth thousands of dollars, which arrived in Gaza today carrying a message to the bereaved and suffering families:

"The free people of the world stand with you, and they have not forgotten you, nor will they ever forget you."

To this very moment, I still cannot comprehend or believe what happened before my eyes.

I had set out on foot under an unbearable, suffocating heat, searching for food and basic necessities for my children and family—simply trying to keep them alive. As I was walking, in a single fleeting moment, the strike came suddenly and violently.

The area erupted into flames, shrapnel flew in every direction, and the air turned into a thick cloud of smoke and dust. Cries, screams, and desperate calls for help echoed from every side, while blood covered the ground in a scene far beyond what words can describe.

In just one second, everything changed. I had been on my way to find food, but instead I found myself carrying the remains and bodies of martyrs, and helping the wounded from among the rubble and blood.

We have come to breathe the smell of blood more than the oxygen itself. Our hands carry the martyrs more often than they carry food or water. Death is no longer something we hear about—it is something we witness, touch, and carry with our own hands every day.

The horror of that moment remains etched in my memory, and the blood and remains of the martyrs are a lasting testament to a tragedy that will never be erased from our hearts and minds.
