England don't stand a chance against the cartel that is FIFA. Argentina will be awarded penalties as needed to ensure a favorable outcome for Argentina if they aren't winning. @ENGARG@ARGENG
Morroco's Sports Minister got cocky before Morocco put in their worst performance at the Wprld Cup, getting thumped 2-0 by France. Go on then Mohamed, enjoy your defeat alone. Being petty is every football fan's inalienable right 😄
UEFA said that FIFA, by making an exception with Balogun and doing so in the middle of the World Cup, has put the integrity of the game "at stake" and set a precedent.
"Football, like any other sports, relies on rules, which are the basis for fair, honest and transparent competition," the UEFA statement added.
"Sometimes rules are open to interpretation. In this case not. A minimum automatic suspension of one match following a red card is not a discretionary option and does not require the decision of a competent body to be enacted.”

With two words Belgium’s social media team, Belgium’s football team and basically the entire nation of Belgium collectively dropped a supersized mic on the United States.
It was the zinger of the World Cup. American fries were drowned with creamy Belgian mayonnaise.
After days of legal rows over Folarin Balogun's involvement, @TimSpiers watched Belgium ruthlessly enact Rudi Garcia's game plan in devastatingly clinical fashion to dump the USMNT out of the World Cup.
