This World Cup has taught me that all you have to do to start a hate train against someone is to called them a zionist. That’s it, there doesn’t have to be any proof. You just have to make a allegation. And that is exactly what is happening with Argentina. In this era of social media where misinformation spreads like a wildfire, it is very easy to ruin someone’s image overnight. And in the case of Argentina the worst part is that the people running the agenda do not give a shit about palestine, it’s all about directing hate towards Argentina. All this because a certain manchild’s fanbase couldn’t accept messi as the goat, so they started all this propaganda to diminish their achievements. And now it has gone to a point where the entire world is dehumanising Argentinians by using the excuse of zionism as a shield. All this highlights the ugliness and herd mentality of the masses, and how easy they are to manipulate. I really hope it gets better with time as it is disheartening to see the world hate such a sweet soul like messi as well as the hatred towards argentinians as a whole.
