Was following the dead internet theory for a couple of years now. After multiple ETH hackathons, devconnects and interviews, I came across Fluent connect and their concept of Prints. I believe this is a brilliant strategy to limit/eradicate the massive amount of AI slop, scams and fake elements on the internet and make the internet ALIVE again.

Attention was the shortcut.
It was easy to measure.
Easy to monetize.
Easy to scale.
But shortcuts come at a cost.
They reward noise over truth.
Volume over value.
Visibility over trust.

Reputation is the solution.
It’s slower, harder to fake, & earned over time.

Great systems aren’t built on what’s loud, they’re built on what lasts.
And if the internet is going to feel human again, reputation has to matter more than attention.
