5 time Champions League winner, 5 time Ballon d'Or winner, 3 trophies with Portugal, titles in England, Spain, Italy & now Saudi...
Highest goalscorer in Real Madrid history, Portugal history, Champions League history, NT history, uncountable records to his name, 27 goals away from becoming the first to reach 1000.
Normally at this stage, after all these accolades, after winning so much, at the age of 41 someone would get bored and not have the same drive, the same motivation.
But, this is Cristiano Ronaldo in tears after scoring a brace to win Al Nassr the league in Saudi Arabia - after trying so much, after coming close so many times.
When you truly love something, you never get tired of it, not in a million lifetimes, not ever.
A player who lives with football. A motivation for everyone. Once in a lifetime player & person. Football is blessed to have Cristiano Ronaldo. 🐐
Suryakumar Yadav has won 4 P.O.M awards in T20 World Cups, it came against Netherlands, Zimbabwe, Afghanistan, and USA.
Years from now, a new-gen fan might just look at the opponent names and label him a “minnow basher"
But those who actually watched the games and checked the scorecards know the real story. When others struggled, Surya stood tall. His innings didn’t just add runs, they saved India from embarrassment against those Minnow Teams!

@_devJNS Most probably meta. This has to strictly do with the innovation they may set forth in the future, as can be seen with the establishment of the superintelligence team
Inspiration for generations to come, you’ve made every Indian proud with your fearless cricket and belief throughout. You guys deserve all the accolades and enjoy the moment to the fullest. Well done Harman and the team. Jai Hind 🇮🇳🇮🇳
@vineeth_naik@sayantansunnyg Plus, if you ask any woman around in India vs in USA as to if they have faced any form of sexual abuse in their lives, you might have to rethink on the learnings you took from the infographic you provided
@vineeth_naik@sayantansunnyg Yes, underreporting happens in the US too, but in India it's worse due to stigma, fear, victim-blaming & weak support. The US still has better help systems & laws. So comparing both equally misses the point that the barriers in India are far deeper.
Indian bosses are the worst in the world.
Indian corporates and leaders are some of the worst when it comes to fair treatment of employees.
In 2004, I worked for a Indo German JV in NCR region.
We worked hard and build the company. When we were launching the product in a 5 star hotel in Mumbai, the entire team comprising of Germans and Indian had to travel there.
The Indian bosses responsible, booked me and my colleagues (juniors) in a cheaper hotel away from the 5 star hotel while they booked the Germans and other seniors in the 5 star hotel.
When my German boss learnt about it, he got really upset. He told the admin head, you either downgrade us or upgrade everyone else.
They upgraded everyone else. But they were not happy.
When the Germans left India, it was back to the old ways.
There maybe some exceptions but Indian bosses are some of the worst, and most Indian companies give 2 flying fucks about work life balance.
In Europe, I have 45 paid leaves a yeah in addition to all other national leaves. The employee rights and interests are well represented by the employee unions.
People come to office any time between 6.30 am to 9.30 am, work their hours, take their breaks, and leave on time to spend time with their family or do what they like. Of course there are some that work longer hours but nobody questions you if you do your job, respect your hours and leave on time.
So if you are an Indian leader, don’t be the asshole in the post below that considers Saturday and Sunday as paid leaves and thinks that Indians have the best work life balance.
He has probably never traveled in a Virar local from Borivali to Churchgate, or driven after work on the western expressway between Andheri and Mira Road.
India has become a “Leader in Technology” and a total ‘Vishwaguru’ without a single entity among the top 100 technology companies in the world.
Our self delusion is really hurting our present and our future.
