Radek Vitek leaving for under £15m isn't unexpected, but disappointing. Carl Rushworth's £22.5m fee set a marker, but if he is going to Middlesbrough in the Championship & that was the level of interest, with a sell on & buy back clause it does limit the potential fee.

Obviously the club needs to improve selling players, that will need to change as the club performs better on the pitch. Regardless, between the Betway deal & Vitek leaving, there is valuable cash coming into the club. Can't tell me there won't be incomings soon.

Manchester United need every dime as it builds back its cash position, ability to spend healthily & become financially sustainable again - Betway for £20m is the biggest standalone training kit deal in world football.

Liverpool's is £20m, but that's for both the men's & women's training grounds. City £16.5m, but for kit & fan activation. Chelsea's is £10m, but for training & pre-match gear. Barcelona's also is just €10m, kit only.

Despite everything, the club still is the biggest brand in the world, now they just need on pitch performance to match to maximise everything we know it can be.
