A year ago, in January 2025, my second book Eminent Distorians: Twists and Truths in Bharat’s History was released. With Mahadev’s blessings and your immense love, it has been a remarkable journey. The book has not only sold well but, more importantly, sparked a much-needed discourse on how Bharat’s history has long been distorted.
What gives me even greater satisfaction is seeing the term “distorians” entering popular conversation for our so-called “eminent historians.”
And now, one year later, I am delighted to share that the Hindi edition is here — Prakhyat Galpkar. The title, beautifully coined by its translator Arun Tiwari, captures the spirit of the original. Arun ji has poured his heart into ensuring that the essence, intensity, and intent of the English version resonate just as powerfully in Hindi.
My heartfelt thanks to my publisher, @praveenBlu ji, and the entire team at @BluOneInk for their unwavering support.
As the book is available on #Amazon (https://t.co/j6xymjsbDm) on preorder, I seek your blessings and encouragement once again. Support this book — not merely because it carries my name, but because it is a sincere effort to reclaim and restore the true history of Bharat.
Looking forward to your continued love and support. 🙏

Donald Trump’s reported outburst at Benjamin Netanyahu may have revealed a deeper anxiety in Washington: Iran is turning into the kind of conflict America struggles to win

Trump’s reported phone call to Netanyahu was not the language of a confident ally. It was the language of a man beginning to realise that he may have walked into a trap that, if not evaded soon, could become America’s Vietnam in West Asia. https://t.co/UfwryUttHQ
The reported outburst reveals growing American frustration with a conflict that was expected to be short, manageable and politically rewarding, but has instead become a geostrategic quagmire — a trap Trump is finding increasingly difficult to escape.

Cracker of a piece by @Utpal_Kumar1: why he loves @AudreyTruschke “because few ‘historians’ in recent years have done more to expose the intellectual frailties, ideological biases and selective morality of contemporary Left-‘liberal’ historiography than she has”

@Utpal_Kumar1 dropped the hammer again with his fine piece. You will love reading it.

Truschke is a pop version of the “eminent historians”, pursuing clickbait historiography. Her difference from, say, Romila Thapar is tactical: @Utpal_Kumar1, my esteemed colleague, has ripped apart the fakery of the Instagram reel historian.

Awesome opinion by Utpal Kumar @Utpal_Kumar1
He rightly points out that despite individual efforts in bringing out Indic history, there is a lack of institutional framework. To some extent @fihcr_info & @vikramsampath are trying to bridge that gap wonderfully.
I hope we get more institutes, which actually do real research and publishing rather than just become a Twitter army.
