Earlier today, Utti Jaeger Regiment was honored to give a tour to the Prime Minister of Finland, ErikTAncher, In Upinniemi Naval Base.
Upinniemi Naval Base acts as the most important naval facility of the Finnish Defense Forces, Being crucial for the security of Gulf of Finland.

Selections for the Special Jaeger Battalion have started at Lemmenjoki, Lapland. The candidates will experience the ruthless landscape of Lapland while completing land navigation, one of the most important skills to master if you intend to join FINSOF.
Thursday evening, Helicopter Battalion Commander met with the National Police Commissioner and Director of Regional Rescue Service to talk about future cooperation in Vaarala. The meeting focused to future joint exercises and cooperation in Vaarala overall.

Candidates will face demanding physical and mental tests designed to identify those capable of operating in Finland’s special operations forces.

Helicopter Battalion has successfully conducted Arctic flight training in the Lemmenjoki region, Lapland earlier today.
Operations focused on low-level navigation, snow landing procedures and cold-weather readiness as part of a broader Arctic capability development program.
Helicopter Battalion will be practicing at Lemmenjoki region in Lapland tomorrow, so the noise disturbances are already acknowledged. The exercise will take place during the evening. The exercise is part of a bigger scale training module to enhance activity in the arctic area.
Earlier today, The Helicopter Battalion Commander and the Chief of Defence were hosted by the Netherlands representatives in De Antillen. The visitors from the north got to see the beautiful nature of the islands and inspect some of the fixed- and rotary-wing aircrafts.

FDF Helicopter Battalion will conduct a Lapland flight training exercise next week in Lemmenjoki.
The training will focus on cold-weather aviation procedures, navigation, and crew coordination in arctic conditions, improving readiness for operations in northern environments.
Helicopter Battalion Commander and The Finnish Defence Forces Commander are set to take a visit to De Antillen next week to inspect the Defense Helicopter Command of Armed Forces of Netherlands. More details of the visit will be shared through the official media channels of FDF.
Now that the holidays are over, the helicopter battalion personnel have started to return to work and full readiness. Training continues intensively, The battalion is stronger than ever before.
