@cazbinny I agree entirely Caz, I have avoided LinkedIn in the past because of the focus on promotion. I'm trying to engage more with it now to see if I can find a different angle, more 'community' but the jury is out 😂
@cazbinny Hi Caz, I was wondering something similar! I've never been on Twitter/X frequently, but even less so now. I'm gravitating towards Linkedin for professional social media. ☺️
My socials are for private use so I don't usually do marketing on here but I've just relaunched my website to better reflect my global practice. Please feel free to share with therapists supervisors and other helping professionals 😁

What happens when your pain isn't caused by some hidden fault deep within you, but by something originating from far outside you: social or oppressive forces from whose painful effects liberation must be sought. Now imagine a MH sector that took this perspective seriously...
Reminder that the 2023 National Counsellors’ Day Awards are now open for nominations!
It’s great to see nominations coming in again, it’s one of the loveliest things we do 😊

@cazbinny Thanks for this Caz. I feel truly sad & angry that so many people tried so hard to get their legitimate concerns heard but were ignored or (in my case) belittled for speaking out and treated as if I knew nothing!
@Therapy_Louise @BACP Nor any understanding of the high quality work undertaken by therapists in those charities/services but rather an assumption that clients with complex issues would be better served within the medical model.
@Therapy_Louise When I was divisional chair I raised this very point at one of the early presentations about #SCoPEd at @BACP To say I was dismissed would be an understatement. No understanding from those involved at the time how 3rd sector orgs work.
So happy to see this wonderful book in print, especially after the sad loss of @PeteSanders51 Well done to all contributors and above all @Sherlocky78 for your amazing representation of the incredibly skilled work of staff at @MarketPlaceLds
Over the moon to talk about the wonderful young person centred organisation I work for @MarketPlaceLds in the new book People not Pathology @pccsbooks Thank you @PeteSanders51 for the opportunity, I’m sorry your not here to see it come to fruition.
