During his visit to the Nasho Irrigation Cooperative (NAICO), Howard G. Buffett met with 12 RICA students who are interning at the cooperative, applying the conservation agriculture (CA) principles they learned at school - aligning with RICA's core mission. The students were excited to meet him and expressed their gratitude for his continued support of their education and the development of Rwanda’s agricultural sector.

What a day for RICA! Our alumni returned for the first-ever Homecoming, reconnecting and making an impact. They planted native trees and an orchard of avocados, toured the new conservation agriculture demo plots and enjoyed a casual networking lunch.

The day wrapped up with an exciting football match between alumni and current students. RICA's homecoming helps foster lifelong bonds and highlights our shared mission to advance conservation agriculture and sustainable development. #RICAHomecoming #Sustainability #Community
