Much more common is to breakup the trip via Potosí, you'd go through the city on the way anyway.

@pedrommuller Depends on whether this is water on the salt flats! So, sometimes, yes.

But you're more likely to have water on the salt flats the later you stay, i.e. later in December, Jan, Feb.
