Rudy Gobert deserves an apology.

In 2022, when the Minnesota Timberwolves got him for 4 first round picks and 5 players, everyone called it a massive overpay.

But having an elite defensive anchor in the paint has paid off big time.

The Wolves went to back-to-back Western Conference Finals, and now, no one's doubting Rudy.

In their playoff series against the 3rd-seeded Nuggets, Gobert came up huge.

Nikola Jokic entered the playoffs averaging a triple-double in the regular season, and putting up MVP-level numbers.

But in the playoffs, Jokic had trouble against Gobert all series long.

He shot just 44.6% in the series - far below his season average of 56.9%.

Jokic looked just a shell of himself, and is now sent home for the summer all because of the Stifle Tower.

Put some respect on Rudy Gobert's name.

He turns 34 this summer, but the 4-time DPOY is still wreaking havoc 😤
