UPDATE on the situation with Peter Akah and Mama Pee in the hands of EFCC.
They reported there by 1pm yesterday and later got released by 12 midnight.
They are to report back this morning.
Dear @seyimakinde
When you're ready, you'll call their names with your full chest.
You'll tell us EXACTLY what happened. Until then, keep giving us sneak peeks.
They have arrested Adeniyi Adeyemi over the alleged non-existing Presidential Foreign Intervention Promotion Council (PFIPC), yet the people he mentioned are still walking freely."
~ Isaac Fayose speaks on the arrest of Adeniyi Adeyemi.
We need to talk about how Nigerians have been bullied into believing that asking to be paid on time is “being entitled.”
Imagine working for 30 days and feeling guilty for asking for your own salary.
That isn’t humility.
It’s dysfunction.
Seyi Makinde is sticking it to the federal government.
He knows more than he's currently sharing. He's just wetting the grounds.
The next couple of weeks, we will know WHO exactly orchestrated the kidnap of those children and their teachers - even had to butcher two people to drive home the message.
This country is bonkers.
“I became a millionaire at 23, now I have built 2 billion-dollar companies. Mark Zuckerberg was the first person to invest in one of my businesses.” — Nigerian Billionaire Iyinoluwa Aboyeji
“I’m Not Us€less. At 22, You Expect Me To Be Taking Care Of You And The Entire Family. I Don’t Even Ask You For Anything And I Take Care Of Myself. Yet You Still Call Me a Failure And Constantly Compare Me To My Mates.” ~ Nigerian Lady Cries Out During a Heated Altercation With Her Mother. 😢💔
Governance is not rocket science.
This is how Norway has improved their sports. This works because Norway is a Nation and not a country.
This will not work in Nigeria because Nigeria is country and not a Nation.
Sad realisation.
Governor Seyi Makinde is calling on the UN & International Human Rights Watch to probe the circumstances surrounding the abduction of Oyo State schoolchildren & their teachers.
His own intelligence gathering is pointing to the fact that his people were kidnapped to settle political scores. The governor is of the firm belief that Orire Abduction was stage-managed by those who abducted the Chibok Girls to spite President Jonathan, & have him removed!
The APC are the culprits. They imported a bunch of ragtag militias into Nigeria. There’s a catch! Amina Mohammed will kill the probe at the United Nations. It won’t see the light of day.
But I support the call; it is the sensible thing to do; the best course of action. Nigerians (& I mean — the sensible ones) should be asking questions too! APC has all the paraphernalia of power. Yet, the circumstances surrounding the abduction leave more questions than answers.
NIGERIANS ARE IN DEEP-DEEP TROUBLE!
If the governor of a state is this helpless, you the ordinary Nigerian should be on your toes.
