My Crisis as a Teenager: "Should I learn Vim or Emacs or stick with TextMate and SublimeText?!". Almost two decades later I can say: Vim was the right move for me. And so was Emacs after. Be good at learning/adapting. Learn the tools of your trade.
@ShougoMatsu Absolutely. Every user has a different way of thinking and approaching the same problems. I still have builds of my tools that has older versions of some of your plugins, and I always smile when muscle memory kicks in. I remember: Shougo gave me enough to make it mine.
@ShougoMatsu I love it when a plugin allows me to configure it just the way I want it. And I love a plugin even more if it is so good that it will take me on a journey to recompile my whole toolset just to get the right flag in. ( you know who you are ;) )
@rachel_l_woods 80+ hours a week takes a huge toll on your body in the long run. Please remember to take care of yourself so you can enjoy some of that success that you have coming your way.
@rektmando I don't find this to be that amazing. Playing on the negative feelings of the viewer is a low hanging fruit, adding Yann Tiersen and then using a retro-disney Disney style turns it into the holy trifecta of low hanging & overcooked. Mandatory: The Simpsons did it better.
@getliner in the end, you might just go with another utility when it comes to highlighting: I am talking about https://t.co/vQPxthe6Th which also is not perfect, but it's good enough.
Attempted to use @getliner once more. What a mistake! How can a company be so SHADY? Pro states ChatGPT 4. You can test it for 7 days after adding a payment method. Now with Pro, all mentions of ChatGPT4, the model says it uses ChatGPT 3. No way to cancel. Liner App is a scam.
@getliner Could they be buying reviews from a cheap service or something? Doesn't seem legit at all - the scam callout in-between the @getliner chrome extension reviews is Aurum.
@getliner This is the extension pages for both @getliner extension/addons. @googlechrome on the left @MicrosoftEdge on the right. The one on the right is by Aurum Planet Co., Ltd. - https://t.co/A5qF4pzBuQ redirects to https://t.co/0RVxzatpyq
@getliner The community topics at @getliner are quite something: https://t.co/FLh1BZXnny
Mix of "Refunds" and "Auto renewed with none email alarm". Looks more and more like a scam.
@getliner Had to go through PayPal to cancel the preapproved payment. I thought they were doing a bit better after looking at all the positive reviews. But I'm now convinced that @getliner is paying for positive reviews on major platforms.
