You know the feeling. You wake up stiff, foggy and not quite ready to face the day. Your back’s tight. Your mind’s still catching up. Coffee helps, but it’s not enough.
Here’s a simple add-on to your morning routine that takes just a few minutes and can change how your whole day feels.
This “Morning Yoga Wake-Up Practice” is designed to shake off stiffness and get you mission-ready in both mind and body.
No gym. No equipment. You don’t even have to leave your bedroom.
The routine uses slow, gentle movements paired with deep breathing to loosen tight muscles after a night of sleep, wake up your joints and get blood flowing, clear your head so you can focus, and set a calm, steady tone for the day ahead.
Think of it as physical therapy for the whole person: body and mind.

National Navajo Code Talkers Day is observed August 14 to commemorate the contributions of Native American code talkers who served in the U.S. military during WWI and WWII. Code talkers utilized a secret, coded language, based on their native language, to communicate important information over military telephones and radios.
