@JTard @RENews_X ... Do you fail to see the correlation between the new movie and RE7? Both are incredibly successful, however a certain group of fans feel like they're not "Resident Evil enough". People *did* complain about RE7, but the general population loved it. It's the exact same thing here

@JTard @RENews_X RE7 did have that problem actually. A lot of fans were wondering what the fuck was up with it, a lot of them saying it was too much like popular Let's Play horror games like Amnesia and Condemned rather than Resident Evil. Others said it was a good game, just not a good Resi.

@laliserys I’m a huge horror buff and while the RE movie is funny AF it legit scared me way more than any of the movies you mentioned. It’s 2026, people love to blow everything out of proportion. Guy has a checkmark too so it’s 50/50 if he’s trying to farm engagement or an actual opinion
