Meet our PTSD Team tomorrow, June 25th, for our VA-hosted PTSD Awareness Event on the front steps of VA Fresno from 8 to 10 am.
June is PTSD Awareness Month, a time to recognize the strength and resilience of Veterans, service members, and their families. PTSD is a human response to traumatic experiences, and with support, understanding, and access to care, healing is possible.
Fraudsters are targeting disabled Veteran athletes with fake deals on adaptive sports equipment. They demand upfront fees, then vanish. Protect yourself: use trusted sources, verify vendors, avoid unrealistic deals, do not share personal information, and report concerns to your VA representative immediately.
Veterans with severe service connected disabilities can now get TSA PreCheck for free — making airport travel faster, easier, and way less stressful. Grab your eligibility letter on https://t.co/MZW1Mj8iSw and enroll with IDEMIA to get started.

The PTSD Coach app was designed for Veterans experiencing symptoms of PTSD. The app can help you learn about and manage symptoms that often occur after trauma.
PTSD is a serious mental health condition that often requires professional evaluation and treatment. PTSD Coach was designed as a standalone tool to help you learn about PTSD and access resources to help support a loved one with PTSD. It does not replace treatment with a healthcare professional.

Is a Veteran in your life hesitant about reaching out for support?
Sometimes, hearing from someone who has been there makes all the difference.
Hear from Veterans about what encouraged them to seek care. https://t.co/sw9D9dHNYz
Great news! Our new Evening CT Scan Clinic at VA Fresno offers non-contrast CT Scan appointments from 4:30 PM to 5:45 PM, giving Veterans flexible options that reduce time away from work. These extended hours improve timely access to care, supporting better Veteran health and earlier diagnosis for improved health outcomes.
For some Veterans, opening up about mental health can feel scary. Concerns about stigma or judgment can make it hard to reach out.
This Mental Health Month, hear how others overcame these barriers and gave therapy a chance. https://t.co/rHSReX07P8
