Women’s Equality Day 🩷 August 26
Today we commemorate the 1920 ratification of the 19th Amendment and honor the service, leadership, and contributions of women across generations — including women Veterans.
Women have served in the U.S. military for more than a century and are now the fastest-growing Veteran population.
At VA, we honor their service by ensuring women Veterans are seen, heard, enrolled, and connected to the benefits and care they have earned.
