Our education outreach team who has been working with 4th graders on SOL content that can be taught outside were so excited to show off the bracelets that the 4th graders made them.
This student saw during his internship at the water quality lab at HRSD that it was hard to keep the pH Probes in the sample cup. Using our 3D printer he designed a pH Probe Stabilizer that can hold the probe together. Solving problems and taking initiative! So exciting!
We had two students moderate a fantastic artist talk with Mark, Dion and Alexis Rockman! Check it out! Grateful for the MOCA for creating this opportunity for our students! https://t.co/q3jJJjGf4J
Outdoor learning about watersheds includes Ss discourse and collaboration. One of the best parts of my work is supporting the YESS initiative with the @VBEnvStudies for fourth graders in 5 @VBTitleI schools. #VBRippleEffect
Humbling to witness the necropsy of a Humpback whale with curious and empathetic @VBEnvStudies students today, keen to better understand challenges in search of solutions.
