Last night on #LetItRip, a GOP consultant called the first Black woman on MI SCt "unqualified" & disparaged her experience.
My homeboy @EliNSavit was on & called it out. My boy came with all the facts & receipts.
Watch it. (1)

And redemption should ALWAYS be the goal in our system. That's what EVERYONE in this criminal legal system should strive for and support.
I'm proud to be in partnership with an elected prosecutor who believes and exhibits this -- every day. (4)
On this day in 1970, Montgomery announced it would remove seats, lock bathrooms, and turn off water fountains at its municipal airport rather than comply with federal court order to desegregate.

Heartened (though unsurprised) to see so many @UMich students lined up to vote. Their future, after all, is at stake this election.
Fellow olds--let's not let them down. #GoBlue#VoteBlue
Michigan's Legislature is up for grabs this year. The stakes are HUGE.
The Pursuit of Justice PAC—by @VBH4Justice & I—has endorsed over a dozen amazing candidates who'll not only flip the House, but fight for justice.

Our Chief Assistant Prosecutor, @VBH4Justice and I are up at Mackinac Island for the statewide prosecutors’ conference.
And look what we found at lunch! The Dr. Oz chicken wings—sorry, “drumettes”—special!
A beautiful day of community soccer. The women get their first clean sheet of the campaign plus three more points while Miss Kallista and Queen’s Club had a very memorable day to say the least! 🖤🌳⚽️👑
Will we donate to safe abortion clinics offering services for women between now and when Michigan's ban will no longer be superceded? What will we do to change the course of history? That's the question. That should be our focus.
We got this, because we got each other.

For my generation, Roe was a baseline. We've never known a world without the ability to make that choice. We grew up learning how this fundamental right came to be. We knew the players for and against it, and they were forever etched in history.

How will we leave our mark on history and contribute to protecting our own? Will we drive our sisters out of state for safe abortions? Will we donate to funds that provide transportation, shelter and after care for women traveling out of state?

Know who the "F'ing nut" is? Lindsey. Graham.
He could not have been more disrespectful to Judge Ketanji Brown Jackson during her confirmation hearing.
And he wasn't even prepared with accurate information. 🙄
Huge congratulations to our Chief Assistant Prosecutor, @VBH4Justice, who was named one of Michigan's 100 most influential women by @crainsdetroit!
We're so fortunate to have Victoria in Washtenaw--and I'm so honored to count her as a friend. Congrats!
