Today I was fined ₹500 near Koregaon Park–Mundhwa signal for “signal jumping”. However, I had already crossed the stop line when the signal was green while taking a right turn. I got stuck only because the vehicles ahead stopped due to

traffic congestion, and the signal turned red while I was already inside the junction.

Is being stuck in traffic after crossing on green considered a violation? I tried explaining this to the officer, but he was not willing to listen and issued the fine.

@smcsolapur Sir..first ask traffic police and police to wear proper mask...just saw today most of them is not wearing proper mask or using handkerchief. So the rule should be same for everyone.if they don't follow, why to fine expect from people to follow?
