You don’t have to power through it. Take time to grieve, heal, and breathe.
Trying to rush to the other side only deepens the wound and delays your healing. #breathe
Stay at your post.
Stay faithful.
Don’t give up.
Don’t throw in the towel.
Don’t cave.
Stand firm.
Live holy.
Have integrity.
Pursue justice.
Love mercy.
Trade pride for humility.
Pray fervently.
REMAIN.
We don’t serve a do-nothing God. He’s working. You’ll see. Don’t give up. He may not write the story you thought.
Just remember... He loves us too much to limit His redemption to only what we can think up.
Now... it’s time to get some rest.❤️

Pretending encourages others to chase perfection.
And it's just all so very exhausting.
Let's give each other the gift of transparency and grace as we pursue Jesus. Because perfection doesn’t exist on this side of eternity.
For many the crucifixion on Friday meant a Saturday of uncertainty. Between the cross & the empty tomb. A space where dread grows & redemption seems unlikely.

He’s always, always doing something... good, powerful, breathtaking. And in the waiting, we can remember the sweetest fruit is oftentimes that which is most ripe.
Healing. We can’t schedule it or hurry it up.
But when we start to see it as unfolding layers of unexpected strength & richly revealed insights, it doesn’t feel so inconvenient or unfair.
It starts to feel like the sweetest secret God ever whispered into the depth of our soul.
