“Putin is obviously going to take every advantage of this, and so will China.” Fmr US NSC official Fiona Hill says American adversaries are painting the US “as the cause of all this turmoil... The United States' global position is really challenged here.”
I couldn't agree more with @general_ben
"The failure lies with the West not Ukraine. The West has failed strategically by not committing to Ukraine's success & not delivering crucial capabilities in a timely manner."
Ukraine will win if we get serious.

Putin said that “peace will come when we achieve our goals.” He then said that “denazification” (aka regime change) and “demilitarization” are still goals. So too is occupying regions he annexed on paper. So how is Zelensky supposed to negotiate with a man who still seeks to overthrow him and disarm Ukraine?
Will America abandon Ukraine?

😡A package of Chinese-made ammunition from a Russian position that had just been retaken by fighters of the 92nd Assault Brigade.
I hope that experts will understand the marking and origin of these ammunition.
In theory, they could get to Russia through Iran, but other ways of supply are also possible.
Without any direct U.S. involvement in fighting Russia, U.S. assistance has helped substantially degrade a major military threat to U.S. allies and potentially the United States itself—a strategy called“offshore balancing.” A defeated or vastly depleted Russian army will allow the United States to spend less on European defense, send fewer soldiers to NATO bases in the Baltics and Poland, worry less about being drawn into a future European war, and shift its money and attention toward other problems at home and abroad.

Russia militarizes Russian children. And it wants to do the same to Ukrainian children from temporarily occupied territories.
Propaganda is a powerful and very dangerous weapon.
“This is the tipping point where the United States and Ukraine and everybody loses.” Russia expert and fmr US National Security Council official Fiona Hill says delayed aid for Ukraine is a “winning ticket” for Putin.
The unserious slogan "as long as it takes" concerning Ukraine has been dropped. It's now "as long as we can." Absolutely tragic and horrifying for 40 million Ukrainians and for all other free democratic nations across the world.

❗️The US Senate approved the defense budget for a record $886 billion
The document also mentions the creation of the Office of the Special Inspector General of Aid to Ukraine.
The law would also extend to 2024 the authority of the US president to provide or lease defense products to Ukraine and other Eastern European countries affected by Russia's invasion of Ukraine.
⚡️ Scholz: Germany's 2nd Patriot to be deployed in Ukraine by 2023.
The second Patriot air defense system previously pledged by Berlin will be deployed in Ukraine by this year's end, German Chancellor Olaf Scholz said on Dec. 13, RBC Ukraine reported.

Historic days for 🇺🇦!
Historic days for 🇪🇺!
And these are the days when negotiations on 🇺🇦's accession to 🇪🇺 may be opened.
Ukraine has done everything for this!
The President of 🇺🇦 @ZelenskyyUa, @ua_parliament, @Kabmin_UA, the Armed Forces, and every citizen of Ukraine have united with a single goal — to defend their right to choose and prove that we are worthy of fulfilling the will of many generations of Ukrainians to become part of the large European family.
We did not need any indulgences, claiming that we were bleeding to death to defend the borders of Europe from a hated enemy.
We simply paved our way and passed this stage with dignity.
We have passed all the necessary laws.
We have implemented all the necessary reforms.
We have fulfilled all the requirements that were put to us in full.
And this is not just our opinion.
The @EU_Commission has recognised this.
The @Europarl_EN recognised this.
Now it's up to the @EUCouncil.
After all, it is crucial to understand that the road to the EU is a two-way one. That is why, no matter how difficult it may be, Ukraine has demonstrated its unity, prowess, and commitment to European values, and therefore has every right to demand the same attitude towards itself.
Today we are fighting a terrorist country to become part of a union of free and equal people. And we certainly do not want anyone in this union of free and equal people to resort to terrorist means to deny the right of an entire nation to return to its European home.
Therefore, we sincerely count on the unity of European leaders.
We are convinced that everything Ukraine has done will be appreciated.
We hope for the only right and honest decision — to open negotiations on Ukraine's accession to the EU.
No one and nothing can stop an idea whose time has come.
Glory to Ukraine!
