On Tuesday 11 November in Luanda, Minister of Interior @Vbiruta was received by President João Lourenço of Angola in a courtesy call during which he delivered a congratulatory message from President Paul Kagame on the occasion of the 50th anniversary of the Independence of Angola.

Rwanda is proud to have hosted this historic UCI Road World Championships. I congratulate all the riders who competed across our capital city for their remarkable achievements and resilience. My sincere appreciation to my friend, David Lappartient @DLappartient, the UCI team, our partners, the security organs who kept the race route secure and the people of Rwanda whose energy and support made #Kigali2025 truly unforgettable.
It's worth noting that the DRC was again whining around trying to oppose Rwanda’s chairmanship of RECSA. Fortunately, all regional organisations in Africa cannot be bullied or manipulated by the Kinshasa desperate regime.
This morning, Minister @onduhungirehe held a diplomatic briefing on recent developments in the region.
He also touched on upcoming events and introduced @RichardMihigo to the diplomatic corps in Kigali. Dr. Mihigo is Rwanda’s nominated candidate for Regional Director of @WHOAFRO.

Why is politics in Rwanda different?
Because individuals have chosen to prioritise unity over division, progress over personal profit and consensus over conflict.
It is a lesson the world can learn.
