Guys @cruelworldfest was awesome! It was so surreal to see so many good artists all at once. I'll post some highlights here as a thread after I catch some sleep and rehydrate my sore body π
@duranduran came out with a new single a while back. I listened a few times and tried REALLY hard to get into it. I'm sorry, I'm a horrible Duranie but I feel like the song trying too hard. The chorus is catchy but overall I'm just not a fan π
Hey I remember this place. Life has been crazy busy, not all in good ways, but I'm still around. Hardly have time for X anymore. It's a shame to see my timeline has died...
I listened to Shadows On Your Side and did NOT expect to be taken on that wild trip. Still trying to figure out if I like it. (Obviously I do) @duranduran
@DailyDuranie@duranduran Not sure yet for my own celebration (#DDAD25 snuck up on me) but I have a friend vacationing on a sailboat right now so I asked him to blast some @duranduran for me! So I'm living vicariously through him...
@VelvetRebel1984 That's funny. Now I need to look up Chris Gaines. I'm definitely more drawn to classic country than modern but that also goes for every genre.
I came on here just to say that Dwight Yoakam might actually get me to listen to country music, and I'm country music's biggest opposer so that's saying a lot.
@VelvetRebel1984 I have a lot of catching up to do. I don't know! I think I've grouped all country music into the same box and I love goth/new wave too much to venture to that side of music π but I always tell myself never say never.
