The Government has increased the HMRC mileage rates. Therefore the rates for volunteer drivers will be revised from 1 June '26:

Driver: 55p per mile (for the distance the driver travels from their home to yours).

Passenger: An additional 5p per mile once you're in the car.

According to the Community Life Survey 2023/24:
Formal volunteering has plummeted from 27% to 17% in a decade, yet charities are more reliant on volunteers than ever.

The sessions are designed for those over 65 and currently driving, to help you to keep driving safely for longer.

Level 3 Award in Emergency First Aid at Work
which is a regulated qualification. It lasts for 3 years and comes with an e-certificate and a book amongst a few other handouts.
