The VCC Emergencies Ministry began in 1977. It is a part of the Victorian State Emergency Management Plan providing Chaplains & Support workers in disasters.

It was great to have an opportunity last week to film a segment with Victoria Police talking about the role of VCC EM. This will be used to assist new Sergeants within Victoria Police better understand what we do, and, how we can work with them, to better support communities.

Following another incident on Bourke St yesterday, there is a possibility of heightened media attention of past events, potentially triggering recollections and causing additional distress for those who were either directly involved or affected by yesterdays or past events.
