A group of Volusia County Schools principals and leaders had the incredible opportunity to attend a professional learning conference at @Harvard University last summer. This week, they shared their key takeaways with the @FUTURES_Inc Foundation for Volusia County Schools and the Volusia County School Board—showcasing how they’re applying their learning to support our students through teacher growth, student and family engagement, school culture, increased leadership capacity, and much more!
We're thrilled to announce that another group of district and school leaders will be attending Harvard this summer for a session on "Leading Culture Change: Strategies for School Improvement."
A huge thank you to FUTURES for making this opportunity possible!
I had the privilege of speaking with candidates in the Preparing New Principal Program about the vital roles of principalship and instructional leadership.
These future leaders are poised to make a meaningful impact in their schools and communities.
Thank you to all the candidates for your dedication to education and for stepping up to lead the way for our students and educators. Together, we’re shaping the future of @volusiaschools!
