Founding Partner at @robleventures. Investing in early-stage startups that enable people, teams, and organizations to achieve their most ambitious work.
You may have noticed that @RobleVentures has a new look 🌳
We’ve been in business for over two and a half years now, and through countless meetings with entrepreneurs, we’ve found that human enablement is not just about where we invest externally — it’s also about how we internally enable our founders to scale their startups and drive returns.

“We are just in the 1st inning of the AI game and we are already seeing some major homeruns, so get ready for a game far bigger than the last two we played with Internet and mobile.”
"AI is all noise!"
That's what I hear from about half of the technologists and experienced tech executives I speak with. The other half say, "Generative AI is revolutionary and not yet fully appreciated."

To answer this question sooner than others, we need a "leading indicator"—a distinct event or trigger that will resolve the debate.
We may have witnessed the beginnings of that moment yesterday when Salesforce announced their new "AgentForce" product powered by Generative AI.
What surprises me most is how quickly these application-layer innovations & opportunities are emerging.
We are just in the 1st inning and are already seeing some major homeruns, so get ready for a game far bigger than the last two we played with Internet and mobile.
At @RobleVentures, we firmly believe in the latter view: Generative AI is transformational. However, we continuously listen to both sides, trying to extract insights that help us navigate the future.
Both viewpoints will eventually converge, but which will prevail?

Your BoD might not be top-of-mind as a founder when securing funding is your top priority, but who you choose to sit on that board will greatly impact the trajectory of your company for years to come.
We’ve seen the effect of board composition most prominently in times of crisis: think back to SVB and First Republic, or FTX and SBF, or OpenAI's infighting.
Our first webinar on board composition will be held on Monday, April 29th at 1pm PT / 4pm ET. We'll be speaking on topics including
🌱Establishing a high-performing board
🌱How to recruit the right board members
🌱How to develop respectful debate with diverse voices
🌱How to avoid confusing shareholder rights vs board rights
🌱Establishing a board culture (which is separate from your company culture)
Building and running an effective BoD is essential to any venture-funded startup, yet it is often considered an afterthought in the midst of a financing.
Why do you think that is?
Founder & CEO @jdulski has always been one to challenge the status quo; after coxing men’s rowing in high school, she challenged Cornell leadership to allow women coxswains on the men’s crew team.
At her company @RisingTeamHQ — an industry-leading team development tool that drives high-performing teams — she continues to amplify the potential of those around her.
“As an entrepreneur, I believe that the winning formula is creating something extremely high-potential and empowering others to help take it to the next level.”
With the help of Jen’s history of startup success and impact, Rising Team will make every team on earth more connected, engaged, and successful when employee morale is at an all-time low.
At @RobleVentures, we fund uncommon founders powering uncommon returns. Combining our deep sector expertise and your tenacity will take you to market as quickly as you want to go. To learn more about how we can build a better future of work, visit https://t.co/RWlBC5Loty.

@BeckyFlintSF came to the U.S. at the age of 26, and transitioned from the medical field to business & finance at the peak of Web 1.0. After volunteering at a tech startup during her MBA, she was so inspired by technology’s potential that she pivoted entirely.
