Great to have Arman taking some intensive air quality results from a summer of hard work for #thecix on the road to this conference! These fundamental measurements of nitrogen oxides and ozone are central to our evolving understanding of urban air quality!
Got to go and present at my first ever conference (@souscc52) showing off the type of work done at @YorkUChem! It was awesome to present and see work from others in the province!
Thank you to my supervisor @TVandenBoer, to the @VDBChemGroup and @SVOCora group for all the help!
Check out our summer project measuring the changing controls on ground level urban air quality chemistry @YorkUScience and hear perspective on why we do this work from graduate student team member @YasharIranpour!!

Approximately 40 scientists from the GTA and across the world have gathered at York University to conduct a multi-week research project on air quality in the region. The team is using highly specialized tools to gather a wide range of new data. https://t.co/JPLr5Bef1N
Congratulations to York Science graduates Melodie Lao and Kathleen Dogantzis on receiving thesis and dissertation prizes from the Faculty of Graduate Studies for their outstanding scholarly work: https://t.co/0CJk3QqbtD | #YorkUConvo
Cost effective, minimal sample prep, and rapid analysis. Ye et al. develop a novel derivatization method for C2-C14 perfluorinated carboxylic acid quantification by GC-MS @YorkUChem in @VDBChemGroup with @SVOCora @rob_dilorenzo To learn more: https://t.co/nwmR1UDVsi
Check out this GC-MS method for perfluorinated carboxylic acid analysis in @an_chem! Stephen (RenXi) Ye developed the first GC-ECNI-MS method capable of separating and quantifying C2-C14, which we applied to aqueous samples with @SVOCora's team @YorkUChem https://t.co/Th1ZOZx2Qv
Worried about gas stove pollution? An instrument for @IndoorChem to fractionate reactive N is here with open-source software! Read more in this #ESPI work by @VDBChemGroup@TVandenBoer ➡ https://t.co/tfNGlKBxWf

Your friendly reminder to turn on the ventilation fan when you cook with open flames.
Open flames, just like car engines, make lots of pollutants, and we want to do our best to pull them out of the house as fast as possible.
... or switch away from gas.

Restarting field sites after a Quebec winter is no small task! Alessia and Eric brought all the gear back up to spec AND trained a new complement of local site operators in under a week. Great work #envchem team! 🙌
Tadoussac, Québec: June 6 - 10, 2022. Eric and I's first trip to the field was a success! We didn't see any whales but the site maintenance and training went smoothly, so no complaints from me🐳 @SVOCora @VDBChemGroup
