@w8lid That is wild! It reminds me of dendrite formation on aluminum but it clearly is not that. Was it in a corrosive environment? Also notice the turns on the toroid are crossed over which is normally considered a defect but I doubt that has anything to do w/ the crystal formation.
@AD0HJ@KN2K1@AMSAT Way to go Mitch! You would have got there sooner if you weren't so generously roving all over the place for others. Congrats and Thanks!
Lively pass of RS-44 with @ChrisVE3FU (VO1FUA) dealing with a bit of a Western pileup. Thanks Chris for the new Province and Grid!
Coast to Almost Coast
@w8lid @lakeerieastro Interesting, that makes sense. It has an impressive frame yet too. Why would you want such a fast frame rate for astro? Stacking works really well with much slower rates. Need to do some reading. Excited to see your images.
Thanks to everyone in this Ham Radio community! So many smart, helpful, generous and funny people with incredibly diverse technical and cultural backgrounds. HAM RADIO the original social network! So glad I joined you all! Now to get roaming and give some grids back! 73
Thanks @dtabor for activating DM84 on the great old bird AO-7 and the new grid which is my last of the CONUS 488! Doug was my 3rd QSO ever and many in between, so glad to hear him say QSL! Thanks to all you rovers!
