Massive disagree, I think it’s united the fandom and gotten so many new people excited for the concept of Spider-Man. The amount of ppl I’ve seen get excited about Spider-Man and make their Spider-Sonas? Unmatched energy.
Anyone misinterpreting is doing it on purpose.
Aang intentionally not killing Ozai makes him a better character. He’s the last of his people and single handedly has to keep their customs and traditions alive. Nobody else can understand that but him. People want him to be kyoshi, but he is Aang.
The only reason people believed Aang needed to kill Ozai and throw away his principles to do it is because everyone gaslit him into believing it was the right thing to do. It's the argument for every pacifist character when they find an alternative to killing.
